Learning and Cognitive Style Inventories

In order to best reach your students you must know what your own strengths and weaknesses are. Take the following Learning Style Inventory and the Cognitive Style Inventory. Comment on this thread with what you found out about yourself.

    I learned that I am a visual learner. On the Meyers Briggs Test my letters were INFJ, which means I have dominant introverted intuition. I found out that I am more interested in the outcomes of my actions and try to act accordingly to what I want the outcome to be. I completely agree with the results of this test.

    From the Learning Style Inventory I tested to be a "Auditory Tactile learner".
    For the Cognitive Style Inventory I tested to be a "INTP," meaning I'm "Dominant Introverted Thinking".
    Realistically I see myself fitting in to both the categories very well.

    I have learned that I am a tactile leaner where I learn the best when working with me hands. Its better for me to write things multiple times and listen instead of reading.

    I have also learned that I am an extroverted sensing personality type and it says I like to live life to the fullest and enjoy freedom. I'm always alert for what needs immediate attention or for what provides the the most action, entertainment, or excitement. I seek and enjoy freedom, are good-natured, direct, and tolerant and are often the ones who provide levity.

    I believe both of these quizzes accurately describe who I am and the way I learn the best.

    Based on my test results, I am a visual learner with a dominant introverted personality type. I believe the tests are fairly accurate. I am primarily a more introverted person but, I also have extraverted personality traits as well.

    Based on the test i just took, I'm a visual learner. also both of the test were right about the extraverted personality and the way i would learn and teach in a classroom.

    Based on my test results I am a visual learner which I agree with and I have an extraverted personality which I am unsure if I agree with yet or not.
